More Fun Spring pictures

If I didn't take the picture fast enough (still learning this new camera!), Sophie's smile would quickly fade to some weird expression. :)

Happy Easter Mama, Happy Easter Daddy, Happy Easter Charlie,...

Happy Easter, indeed! Sophie kept repeating "Happy Easter" to us all day long! :) The day before, we had fun being together as a family (not typical for a Saturday, since Mama usually works). We went to our ward breakfast & easter egg hunt-very rainy & cold, but still fun-, & we also dyed our own Easter eggs. Easter morning, we awoke to the Easter bunny leaving us baskets of goodies & a house full of eggs to find. "They were ALL OVER!" Sophie said. Justin was quite surprised to see how well Sophie found them all, realizing he'll have to be more tough next year! Needless to say, Sophie ate way too much candy-sneaking it all day (& sharing with Charlie!). Church was wonderful, with Mama singing in the choir, & later on we had a bunch of friend come over for a combined yummy Easter dinner, devotional, & our new tradition of egg rolling! I'm mad that I forgot to keep taking pictures the rest fo the day, but it was so much fun! Hope you all enjoyed celebrating the atonement & resurrection of our Savior. (Included is a picture of Sophie's marigold flowers she is growing)

Sleeping Escape Artist

Sophie had recently realized that when she goes to bed, Mommy & Daddy stay up. Having figured out how to open her door, she has been coming in & out of her room, trying to stay up herself & see what we're up to. A couple ngihts in a row, as we were retiring to bed, we found her sound asleep in the middle of the hall. We have the incriminating photos-one night she had found a sucker, and another night she couldn't resist putting on her dress-up Princess dress, & fell asleep with it! Well, after many nights (& nap times!) of herding her back to bed, taking away priveleges (incl. Kitty), messed up sleeping schedules, & numerous talks, we just decided to get a child-proof door handle. Sophie, upon seeing the new contraption that Daddy installed on her door, checked it out, then frankly stated, "Don't like it! I think should take it off!" We bursted out laughing & decided we'd made the right choice! Problem solved!
